30 DAY SPEARFISHING INTERNSHIP IN JACO COSTA RICA

New to spearfishing and want to learn how to safely and effectively hunt? Already know how to spearfish and want to take your skills to the next level? The internship is a great package for you.

Our Spearfishing internship is a no-brainer for someone who wants to level up their skills. We will be on the water 6 days a week whether its free dive training, spearfish training, reef hunting, or blue water hunting. When were not on the boat, you can enjoy your free time hiking to waterfalls, surfing, hanging at the shop ETC. Before each internship we speak with the intern and hear exactly what their goals are. We customize each internship with those specific goals in mind. 

Prerequisites

• No dive experience necessary 
• Minimum 18 years of age
• HOLD A VALID COSTA RICAN SPEARFISHING LICENSE "Practice underwater fishing card". You can get yours for US$50 on the INCOPESCA website (https://www.incopesca.go.cr/carnets/tramites/SolicitudTraducido.aspx)

Equipment:

• Please bring sun protection (sunscreen, sunglasses, ETC).
• All necessary Freedive and spearfish equipment is provided free of charge but you are welcome to bring your own. We also have a shop with some of the top brands if you are looking to acquire your own gear. 
• We provide basic fruits and water on the boat. 
• HOUSING AND MEALS NOT PROVIDED

Policy:

• **NO DRUGS PERMITTED WHATSOEVER**
• If divers show up hungover, drunk, or under the influence your trip will be cancelled without refund. 
• 50% deposit required. 2 week / 14 day cancellation policy. Any Trip cancelled 14 days or less before trip will forfeit deposit.
